7.   Processing and validation of EU VAT-Numbers


7.1.       When you enter your EU VAT-Number in the suppled VAT-Number form field, our system will validate this number with the official EU VAT Information Exchange System (VIES). For this purpose, your VAT number and the country you specified is transmitted to the VIES server via SSL encrypted data connection. This is only done for verification purposes and none of this information will be stored on the VIES servers.

8.   Impersonal data, use of cookies, social plug-ins and adroll display advertising

8.1.       We do not generate any user profiles. Information stored on our servers about customers will be only in the form of anonymous or pseudonymous data and used solely in the delivery of our varying services or for evaluation purposes.
